William (Bill) Kinnison, 92, of Sebastian, FL, died Nov. 23, 2013 at his home. He was born in Winslow, Ark. to the late Lewis and Mary Ola (Smart) Kinnison on Nov. 15, 1921. After his birth the Kinnison family moved back to the Gettysburg, Ohio area.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife of 66 years Edith (Lewis) Kinnison, four brothers, Ralph, John, Joyce, and Herman Kinnison, and one sister, Dorothy Hankins.

He is survived by daughters: Judy Houle, of Northborough, Mass., Kelley Kinnison, of Sebastian, FL, and a grandson, Jared Smith of Sebastian, FL; two sisters, Kathleen Gunckle, of Greenville, Patsy (Galen) Riley, of Gettysburg; and sister-in-law, Vivian Kinnison, of Greenville.

He graduated from Franklin School in 1939. He joined the Marines and was in World War II serving in the South Pacific and Pearl Harbor. After returning home, he moved to Vero Beach in 1961, bought a Texaco gas station. Worked at Vatland Olds in Vero Beach as a Sales Manager for many years. Opened Kinnison Motor Center and finally retired from Johnson Chrysler Plymouth in 1986 as Sales Manager
He was a member of the Marine Night Fighters Association, VFW Sebastian Post #10210, 50 year member of Gettysburg Lodge #477 in Gettysburg.

Funeral services will be held Dec. 2, 2013 at Aycock Funeral Home & Hillcrest memorial Gardens, 6026 N. US Highway 1, Fort Pierce, FL 34946. Viewing will be at 10 a.m. with funeral services at 11 a.m., with nephew Jimmy Kinnison officiating.
