Hoying, 89, of Greenville, died Aug. 15, at Rest Haven Nursing Home, Greenville.
Jerome is survived by his children, John and Sherry Hoying of Union, Bob and
Joan Hoying of Wildwood, MO, Jim Hoying of Tampa, FL, Fred and Sharon Hoying of
Greenville, Sandy and Charlie McFarland of Greenville, Sharon and Bill Westfall
of Greenville, Randy and Anita Hoying of Cincinnati; 11 grandchildren, 12 great
grandchildren; four brothers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, Aug. 21,
2012, 10:30 a.m., at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 233 West 3rd St., Greenville, with
Rev. Fr. John White celebrant. Burial
will follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Greenville. Family will
receive friends on Monday, Aug. 20, 5-8 p.m., and Tuesday from 9:30-10 a.m., at
Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville. A Military Graveside service will be
conducted by the Greenville Veterans Honor Guard. It is the wishes of the family that memorial
contributions be given to State of the Heart Hospice.
